Hi, I've tried searching for this, but my poor selective (and somewhat ADD) self had a hard time trying to find an answer for this:

I recently made my Vagrant my second Assist - this time, aiming for AoE BP (or RM, depending on how it goes).

At 16, this is my build (going with the Full STR with some STA)

STR 23
STA 36 (aimed at 40)
DEX 16
INT 15

So, my problem is I miss a hellalot. Averaging 16 misses while trying to kill a Creep Nyang (it takes me 16 hits to kill one - so 32 swings in total).
I added 1 DEX point, but I'm wondering if I should really add any more DEX. I keep missing, but should I just wait for my buffs?

No, there's no need to raise dex for an AoE whatsoever, unless you're a Blade. The leveling will be a bit slow, but if you can get a hold of anything that raises atk speed, dex, or anything at all that will help kill your enemies faster, than go for it. I'd recommend a Sardine set, an atkspeed shield, and those lovely pang buffs.

Get your heal to lv10 and FS till 28 or something, at those levels people don`t give damn.

Personally, I wouldn't waste skill points on heal, even if you still have your re-skill from your job change.
The pang's buffs will help you till 30 and its accuracy still helps, though it's not the best ever.

I'd go 1v1 till 28, though it requires a bit of patience. Partnering with someone may also help in the right circumstances. As I see it, getting to the lowest level AoE skill any class can reach is going to be enough of a reward, regardless of whether or not you decide to just heal someone till that level.
However, as an AoE assist, you'll need a lot of skill points to add to Heap, Beef, Burst Crack and Stonehand. Perhas even Mentalsign for longer buff timers.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'll keep off the Dex and try to find some good equips. I'm just taking my time on Flyff, so it might be a while before I get to level 28, but it'll be fun nonetheless. I only put skills enough in to make Heal lvl 3, then I'll get the minimums for all the buffs until I unlock all the necessary AoE ones and I'll max them in accordance to other threads/guides I've been reading up on.

Eh, I didn't miss a lot. I did full sta when I first become assisteh, i survive hits easily. I can tank up to only 3 mob without food. I was 15 and I tanked 3 of the second class ferfern. Once I got my aoe skill, I leveled like extremely fast. Even faster with a fs because I don't have to click food. The fs also level fast too. Here's what I did: At level 15, full sta for first job. Level 16-20, add str. Level 21-28, add sta. When I got my aoe skill, Mobs were only doing like 10-50 damage on me. Real low, and I don't have to use food much. Found it easy to survive. A little harder without doing my heap up The 2 first thing you should max is heap up and burst crack.

What you do is get to level 20 or pleveld to 20, or get buffs and level to 20 then skill spam that skill either maxed or level 4 untill you get to level 28 for aoe skill. for leveling at lower levels i suggest adding STR to help with 1v1 dmg untill you can use skills to do dmg, then add sta for how ever much you need for later. Lower level Mobs have really low HP, and you can aoe them with very few aoes if you have high STR. but may need refreshers if enemy hp get to high later and your sta isnt high enough to allow you to tank many mobs or give you enough fp to finish off the aoe, so if your aoeing and run out of fp, got hit 10 or more mobs and they hitting hard as hell and your not stunning with aoe your probably going to die. which is why its good idea after each aoe, to wait untill your fp fills back up to full/

wat's your lvl right now? (and stats) since you added the 1 to dex, (it kinda does matter) you can think about making a 1v1 assist>BP, since they're great ghunters (for 1st accs)
