My ranger is lvl 55 at the moment. Anywhose I made it three days ago cause I finally found somebody selling a statted Oska set +8. I bought him all the things he needed, I think. The only problem is, no good thing from lvl 60 till lvl 75. I only got him a G bow +8. Should I just get him plvled to 75, or should I test out my aoeing skills first?
My build? I dont know. Havent added points since I was lvl 18 xD. So help me decide. My friend, WhosYourDaddeh told me his build is 40 sta even though his eqs are godly. I dont knoow. At first I was going to go full dex.

You're fine, Use the NPC ranger set, and use the g bow until the historic bow, which is quite cheap, then use the angel bow, and get the upgraded as high as possible, as you'll be using it for the rest of your life (unless you wanna use a LGB for the lulz, or a bloody bow for fun or if you think you'll need it more)
Some people choose to keep using the G.Bow till you switch to A.Bow, so you can do that if you want. I myself use a Historic Bow because I don't have a G.Bow.
Just use blue armor from lvl 60-75. As for the pet, I would go for a rabbit.

you dont need to go to 60 sta it just helps with tanking
and also you should invest in some sta rings and plugs those will help with tanking the most id say Gore would do too but thats my opinion
also as a pet id say either unicorn or rabbit depending on if you want more block/miss or if you want more HP to tank more mobs its all up to you
as for the bows i think hes got it right on except that you will want to make it fire element no matter what as it increases the flame arrows DoT and is better then basically any other element as for equips it looks like your good
No need to restat if you can help it. Since you have a +8 set, you should be able to go full dex, if you really wanted to.. (with a small STA cushion if you want). I had a full dex ranger, and I've been aoeing since 60. You'll need an RM, 2 Plug+9s, Gore Necklace, and STA-rings though, pre-75 for it to work.
Elementing your suit with same element helps too. I would say put in 20-25 STA if you want to stay on the safe side and don't have an RM. You should be able to get to 75 without getting a plvl though.
People have told me that they like the HP to tank in Azria, though. Imo, the extra HP doesn't hurt at all o: .. so 40 STA won't be overkill, if that's what you're worried about :3 .. I'd get Uni or Rabbit. Like lawltank said, some people use a GBow until lvl 90. Since your GBow is +8, there really shouldn't be any problem using it till then.

Cause you really do not need all that HP.

I made a Ranger with 60 Sta and regret it dearly.
Also once you get to 75, AOEing is a breeze because you got all that Block Rate.
40~50 *shrugs* If by non-funded you mean you can't afford very nice equips. The ranger I made on Clockworks had nothing to go of off, and she has 45 stamina, and she got to 74 perfectly fine.
Anywhose finally reached 60. Im a ranger now woot. Now what skills do I use for the maximum aoe damage? I was thinking of using Ice when they're chasing me, then use fire when they reached me, then ice, then arrow, then fire, and repeat.

Kinneko's method works so well.
I just recently got to Ranger, my build is pure dex and I have 2x plug +9s and 2x Arek +6 (but I'm saving up for a couple of stam rings).
I've been aoeing the cranes recently, because I don't have any sta and it's been fine. It might be a little slower than someone with more sta, but I'm not sure. I have no one to compare it to.
Here's the lvling order I use because I don't have Piercing Arrow(I believe it's at lvl 70, could be wrong on that) yet:
Ice, Fire, Ice, Refresher, Arrow, Fire, Ice
although, since I'm lvl 63 and killing Cranes, I only end up going Ice, Fire, Ice, Refresher, Arrow...then they're all dead.
so yeah, my whole point of this rambling was that you can do it with pure dex as your build, it just might take a bit longer.
Remember to do the Red Mantis Quest and the Bang quest so you get to lvl 61 and like 80%, then practice your aoe sequence. I suggest practicing on either Volts or Elderguards until you get the hang of it, then move on.

Ice Arrow's effect isn't strong enough to be used for the purpose of slowing enemies down, imo
Maximum AoE Damage? Start with Flame Arrow --> Rain --> Ice --> Flame etc.
That's what I would do, at least. You want to start with your DoTs first so that they can damage your enemy overtime for longer periods of time.. and constantly recast a DoT when the cooldown is over. That way your enemy is always getting damage from DoTs.
