I liked it, A lot really.

Although I am at the same time discouraged, what was up with the whole religious stuff in there?

Spoiler:WTF, Sylar's real mother is Angela Pretrelli! But I wonder if he's from the same father as of those from Nathan and Peter.

I've yet to see all of season 2, but I really appreciated how you don't get too lost within the complex plotline that Heroes tends to have and you're not that confused when starting off with a new series.

The whole religious stuff creeped me out as well - seems like they just added it in there to provide a contrast to what being a superhero is all about? Right now I'm a bit hesitant about adding in religious factors, but if they do it right, it would make sense with the whole concept of good vs. evil that this season seems to focusing on.

Rutiene, looked to me like Sylar was picking out a section of Claire's brain to keep in order to gain her power. Shame he didn't eat it though >:

Slyar's ability is learning and understanding how systems work. This includes the brain. All's he'd have to do is see how the synapses fire and how the nervous system runs. Then he could make his brain mimick it (by understanding how his own brain works) and voila!

I can see Sylar actually turning out to be the one who kills every single one of the "villians". Peter's too much of a pussy and Sylar's now immortal. Not only that but when those other villans went after the grandmother, Sylar was behind her in a "protecting" sort of fashion.

Anyone else annoyed/freaked out by the fact that everyone is related to everyone in some way or another.

Claire is Nathan's daughter. Mom Petrelli gave birth to Nathan, Peter and Syler. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone else had some kids of their own with other people.

Anyone mind giving me a brief overview of 1 and 2?
I watched the two episodes, and it seemed pretty interesting.. until the part where the black dude decapitated Claire... thats when I changed the channel... I almost wet myself.
