Version 12 open beta is here!

Beta begins tomorrow, it will run from September 12, 2008 until the week of September 22nd. The specific end day is subject to change.

Servers have been set to 20x Experience, and 20x drop rate.


Rules

The main thing you need to know is that the goal of this server is to help find bugs and issues relating to V12. This is not a place to come and goof around and not do anything.

If you plan to come to beta, set up shops, and not participate in GM/QA run testing, you will be removed from the server.

No player shops are allowed. The server may be restarted at any time, we will most likely have restarts every 4 to 8 hours to ensure those with shops are kicked.

Gear and items will be given out by the QA team based on the need for certain tests. Harrassing a GM or QA member for items will result in a permanent mute without any prior warning.

If you send us bugs (and we hope that you will), you may include 1 item which could help make your life on the beta easier, but please do not expect us to reward you with anything if you report something not considered to be a bug or something already known.

Open beta is just retarted =_=, best be close beta cause then everyone would be flooding into it and not letting any real tests and such to be done... You all know this to be true @_@

But its nice, in the end it wont be released the day after beta ends since they have to get the bugs and such fixed (which they never do) lol

I might try it out...but last beta, i downloaded it didn't install it and deleted it a week later....

10 days is enough is find new bugs to exploit as well as making/devolving new hacks for v12.

I had to reboot my client to log in, so I saw the v12 open beta notice and my first reaction was, "Wow, that was fast."

I seriously wasn't expecting beta for another couple weeks.

You guys can have fun testing V12, I'm gonna be leveling my vecromancer....might check out the reviews from the open beta users and then decide whether to stick with Flyff or not.
When open beta ends your char gets wiped anyways right? Do they give out rewards that you can use in the full release version? Is it worthwhile?

I have a question about betas. Do you use you account and chars that you already have for it or do u have to make a new one? If you can use same chars then great cuz I'll make lvl 90 or even 100 fast XD!

I still see nothing pertaining to something that will keep 110+M/Heroes entertained. Far as I'm concerned, it's pretty much a disappointment. Nothing about PVP changes or Class balances is, seems like things are going to get worse, sorry to be negative. Hope you guys find it appealing, later =p.

In the past you use the same account names as your efly version, but you have to create new characters. I don't know if the v11 beta characters will still be around, but i doubt they will be.

But no they don't get erased, for the past couple betas the beta characters have been passed on to the next.

And no you cannot use your real accounts lol If we could i could get hero already
