This is a help thread for jesters, all jesters. i'll try and help with what i know of the class from my experiance with it, and i invite any and all other jesters to come share their knowladge.

currently i'm 65% from lv110 as a yj since lv75. at 110 i'm going to make a bloody yoyo and compare the damages to that of a historic yoyo. i plan to awaken the BY for +crit damage in hopes that the higher attack of it will offset the 28% crit damage on a hyoyo.

since i plan to stay a yj and i'll have to eventually be in the volcane dungeon, theres two options. either continue to use a hyoyo and restat to a 30sta build so i can tank in there, or use a BY and keep my current build. i'm going to find out which method will give the better damage, i'll post up the results =3

bj's are full dex. why people dislike them is a mystery now- the damage the deal is pitifully low =/

Unless you're getting ganged by em in the arena. Its fun when they're all in a clump cause its a 1hko windfield, but when theres 2 to the right 3 to the left and 1 in front, its just a case of seeing how many buttons you can accidentaly misclick before they can take down 5k HP. ._.

I don't know about everyone else, but I hated them because most of them were insolent noobs that thought they were better than everyone. The fact is they still act this way even when the general public knows they suck.

i always find it funny when one follows me in, then when i come out of DI and tank 3 hits before killing em. just makes me giggle a little

What I love is when you kill a BJ, and they're all like 'OMG UR GONNA GET IT NOW', respawn, get like, gold pills and cookies, get fully buffed including SF GT, spend half an hour planning their attack, come out, and you STILL 1hko them. <3

Gotta love humiliating them with a newb Blade with mastered pan barrier too. I mean the ones that're too dumb to use skills against you(seeing as they think their 1337 crits pwnz you), they deserve what they get.



Okay, now that we got BJ bashing out of the way... anyone see anything good from higher-leveled BJs?

at 105+ the desert mobs are a pain in the ass occasionally for a yj. while you can tank with your blockrate on a bj, you can't rely on it as a yj.

yj's still hit alot harder though, and can tank multiple smaller mobs easily. but the larger mobs can 1hKO you in rage. usually i get them to 1/2 hp and counter, then finish them in rage. or i'll start the big mobs off with a backstep before killing them. solves the problem easily and only takes a second to do

Good luck with the Bloody, I think I remember people trying this out with LG Yoyo's and it wasn't even close :S Though even if the damage is alittle less, it might still make sense to go with the bloody for the dungeon

especially with a crit awakening :<

good idea with the yoyo, try gettin +crit dmg on suit too so both added together can match the h.yoyo. (unless u already have +crit dmg on suit)

What's the highest Crit dmg % you can get on weapons?
