Welcome back to the latest installment of the FlyffWorld Spotlight thread. This is where we showcase the threads that catch our attention. Similarly, here is where we give recognition to we feel deserve to be put in the spotlight. So, with introductions aside, lets get into this, shall we?

FlyFF Related
As you all know, Flyff was recently updated to v13 and boy did our forums explode with threads and questions.
Addle Larson created an entire topic dedicated to the discussion of
Coral Island. So if youve spent time on the newest CS island, thats the thread to head to if you want to chip in your thoughts and opinions.
Another feature brought in with v13, is the addition of titles that can be earned through various actions (most of which involves eating and killing). If you want to discuss the titles in depth, then
Luciana's v13 Titles thread is where you want to be.
For non-v13 discussion,
Shuro asks the question
Are the Flyff servers getting smaller?. Quite frankly, I think this is a fair question and it begs the question whether Gala will start yanking servers instead of adding them. But I digress that is a discussion for a different time.
Non-Flyff Related
Wow what a week we've had, not a good week to be a celebrity. The biggest surprise was Michael Jackson's death at the age of 50. You can visit my thread on
Michael to share your favorite Michael stories, or just post a YouTube vid of your favorite Michael song.
Back in the 70's, the girls wanted to be her, and the guys wanted to be with her (and her hair). She was the first to make it a sport to watch girls run in one piece bathing suits long before Pamela. I'm of course talking about one of the original Charlie's Angles, Farrah Fawcett who died of cancer at the age of 62. You can visit
Aaerdan's thread on
Farrah to pay your last respects.
Although he was much lesser known than Michael or Farrah, you cant deny he made watching infomercials fun. Billy Mays died unexpectedly at 50. Visit
Kinneko's thread on
Billy and discuss your favorite infomercial moments with him.
We have no dedicated thread to this last man, but I feel he deserves some spotlight recognition regardless. This man has been making dreams come true for decades by surprising people on their doorstep giving away millions. This man is no other than Ed Mcmahon, who died at 82 last week. I dont think anyone was happier to see him at the pearly gates than Saint Peter himself, who after playing the sweepstakes for years finally got his check.
Let us dispense with the depressing stuff and move on to some threads that'll lift our spirits. I think the perfect way to do that is by showcasing the latest review entries (just go with it, k? >.>).
First, let me bring another one of my threads to the spotlight. No, I didnt write a review, but I did create a thread that will link to all the reviews that get written. So no more digging through pages and pages of threads to find a specific written review. I have split the reivews into separate threads, the first being the
Game Review Index and the second being the
Movie Review Index
Anyway,
Suinia has given us another great review. This time its on
Professor and the Curious Game. A lesser known puzzle game for the DS, so if you like puzzle games, check out the review of this game.
Next we have
Serph's debut review of
Star Ocean: The last hope. Although I was vaguely aware of this game prior to its release, after reading Serph's review its definitely on my list of games to get.................eventually. Seems like a must have if your an RPG fan and a 360 owner.
Last for the game reviews we have
Vance with the review of the highly anticipated
Prototype Although I dont have any desire to own a PS3, I must admit this game has started to pique my interest. Not enough to make me consider buying a PS3, but if I ever do, this game would be at the top of my list.
Once again we have
SoraMio with another
East Asian Movie review. Looks like this time she covers a little bit of action, a little bit of drama and a little bit of the suspense genre. Definitelly worth a look if you're into those types of movies.
Before I end this, Id like to recognize a few members for our spotlight. These three have been mentioned a number of times in our past spotlight threads for their contributions. This past week they have been given a little bonus as a token of appreciation, that their past contributions not go unnoticed or forgotten. So Id like to congratulate
Suinia and
ItsNotRudy for being the first to recieve the Game Reviewer tags and
SoraMio for being the first to recieve the Screen Reviewer tag. I think you guys should stop by and congratulate them as well.
Anyway, this ends the latest edition of the FlyFFWorld Spotlight thread.
