I know someone already posted this but his question was never answered. I upgraded my graphics drivers, but flyff was working like 2 or 3 weeks ago and now it doesn't work. I uninstalled all my anti-virus and turned of firewall. I dont know whats the problem? Can someone please help. Thnx in advance!

Hmmm if all those thing's wouldn't work then the only solution is probably to Take ALL FLYFF related files delete them and download it again so it can have new Files... Reason for your problem is maybe theirs missing Documents that Flyff needs to run

This sounds similar to my problem which I posted a few days ago. I've also done what has been previously said, reinstalled Flyff after deleting all related files, etc.
I currently have not found a solution myself, but just to confirm...
When FlyFF closes, no error window pops up, right?
Also, go into your Flyff folder and check for a Notepad file titled "error".
Open it and see if there's something along the lines of "Default setup error...(insert rest here)".
If so, you have the same problem I have. Dx
I've been trying to fix this for weeeeeks. Gala hasn't e-mailed me back, either. But hopefully, either I can figure out something, or someone can enlighten our troublesome situation. :x

What Windows are you running, what programs do you have running in the background?

Give me your IP and I'll fix it for you . But really the bold part isn't generally a good idea.
Try reinstalling FlyFF, and maybe tell us how it doesn't work(when does it crash, what message do you get if any). Just saying 'hai fliff no work halp mi' isn't gonna get you very far.

well uninstalled flyff and i downloaded it again and i still have the same problem. Once GameGuard seems to finish flyff just closes with no error message. I know having no anti virus is a bad idea but i really don't care if my computer gets mest up there is nothing important on it anyways. Also once flyff starts working i will put it all back. As far as that error message in the flyff folder goes, yes i do have one but instead it says:"nProtect GameGuard : Failure accessing the Game Guard updating server. If you are having problems please check your connection and make sure your firewall is off." So I'm guessing its GameGuard that i have to fix but i have no idea what to do. I'm running Windows XP and I'm not sure how to check what windows I'm running in the background. Also is giving my IP address safe?o thats my problem if anyone knows how to fix it i would really appreciate it. Thnx in advance!

Perhaps your router has a firewall built into it, try turning that off

Huh. Similar situations of Flyff working fine, until about the 21st, when it suddenly started closing on me. Except I get the Default Setup error thing, even though I have no possible conflicting programs.
On your end, have you installed any new hardware, software/programs, etc.?

Yeah I had this problem, but it turned out gameguard(or Flyff) hates winamp. So now I get to listen to the ingame music. Woo~! /sarcasm
Funny thing is that it worked fine with winamp the other day...
Edit: This piece of crap is still doing the same thing so I guess it wasn't winamp >.>

Well it wasn't winamp, and winamp is a program that is basically like Windows Media Player. You can stream music from online radio stations with it and that's what I do. Anyway...I restored my computer to factory settings, then re-downloaded everything. I downloaded the manual patches from the official forum after I installed flyff. I think these were for older verisons of the client or something but I dunno. The patches after V13 was implemented are here:
June 25, 2009 patch: http://flyff-forum.gpotato.com/viewt...f=12&t=2686343
NOTE: It will will ask to overwrite existing files, just click "Yes to All"
July 2, 2009 patch: http://flyff-forum.gpotato.com/viewt...f=12&t=2688125
NOTE: This one will also ask to overwrite existing files do the same here.
Don't use the megaupload links on this one. For some reason they are like 312MB. Use the Mediafire links.
I recommend uninstalling flyff, and getting all traces of it off your computer. Then reinstall it, download these patches, install the patches in the flyff folder, open flyff and it'll patch more. I did this and it worked -knock on wood-
HOPEFULLY this will help you and allow you to play.
