This is as of v13 and Im stuck deciding which to pick. YJ or BJ? Which lvls up faster from 15-65? From 65+? Which one would be a better pick for pvp 65+?

YJ's dont level faster, BJs level faster. Yj hits more but with all those pushbacks, BJ will level faster then a YJ.

For PvP, both has its weaknesses, but yj is better.

not to mention although bows only get 3 dmg or w/e not exactly sure a dex, every 10 dex for bow jester is 4% crit rate, and 30 dmg. mean while for yoyo jester, str only adds like 4-5 atk. more like 4-4-5-4-5-4-4-5. but with all that str no crit added. so with bows getting dmg from dex, and more crit, and having crit dmg 45 or 90 set is best, id say bow and bow jester better then yoyo although im trying make yoyo build that is better.

With awakes and self buffs, a YJ can get 80%+ Crit rate with base dex

What a bullshi- YJ's pushbacks ?
Any decent YJ isn't bothered by pusbacks except when GH'ing.
So stop using 'Oh yj has pusbacks' as an argument to lvl slower because if your
YJ is suffering from pushbacks you might have to figure something is wrong.
I started YJ from lvl 80 for the 90 set and have never felt any lack of killing speed and pushbacks is just some excuse to go bj.

He is right though, so don't attack him like this.

You have to run after the mob, meaning 1/2 seconds are lost.
Where a BJ can just keep hitting and don't suffer that much from the crit pushback.

And we are talking general talking here, if a YJ has a 28% attack and a ultimate Hyoyo+10, offcourse he will still end up killing way faster then your average BJ. Not easier though, imagine pushing it back behind a rock. Then you get the annoying 'A obstacle in your way'. Takes even more time.

And i leveled a YJ and a BJ, YJ is more fun in the longrun due to PVP. But i don't blame people who revert to BJ for easier leveling. Hell, you can prepare a sandwich, google something, eat your sandwich. No need to pay attention to it.

I can eat my sandwich while leveling a YJ too, any 1vs1 char is dead easy to level.
How is a BJ any easier? Because a YJ needs Critical Swing? LOL. Yeah mens, rebuffing a skill every minute is so hard, oh the struggles!

I've by far leveled faster as a YJ than as a BJ with similar equips.

People make more of a big deal on knockbacks than anything else so let me just clear this up now. I've never really had to experience extended periods of having to run after mobs, not even ghunting. The knockbacks usually fall into your weapon range anyway so there's no need for moving.

YJ swing cycles are also hella faster and I've also been able to pull 9X% crit on three full STR jesters.

A lot of people uneccessarily hate on bjs, so dont expect neutral answers.

And people really need to stop comparing their 9x+ jesters with insane awakes and equips with normally equipped jesters.

The basics are, YJs have more potential for greatness. You unlock that potential by having very good equips and atleast be able to wear the lv90 set. That's the requirements to be a decent YJ. If you cannot meet those requirements, or aren't high lvl yet, don't bother and make a BJ, you can restat YJ. People and their stories of being a pwnage YJ at 6x-90 is really nonsense out of the fingers of people who have way too much money and time on their hands. We don't care if your YJ pwns, it's not efficient compared to a BJ of the same level. That's just typical really, you take the guy who has billions and hate BJs, makes a good YJs(cause he's so damn rich anyway), compares it to a random BJ who just started the game, and states that YJs are better at any lvl. Well, no, they aren't. They start pwning with the lv90 set and no sooner.

lol... this re-occuring topic almost got me banned for fussing out other users
my advice is to do what you want.. bj is just 1v1 with bow... if ranger could 1v1 as well
as the YJ (with crits of course ) then bj's probably wouldnt be neccisary... <3 bows forever
