Jewelry for a Ranger?

What do you think is the best set of jewelry that a Ranger should use? I sold my marksman's set because I think that it was not that useful. I now have 2 demol + 12, defender's necklace + 3 and an arek + 4. I have the money to spare so price would be no issue.

Are you an AoE ranger? If so and no new jewelry sets were released in the past few versions, I believe areks + plugs are the best choice. That's how I always leveled my ranger and it worked fine. Some rangers use to tell me to use demols instead but it seemed a lot easier to AoE with plugs on, at least for me. You could try leveling with demols, with plugs, or with 1 demol and 1 plug, and see what works out better for you.

Then again, that's what I used for my ranger in V15 or something. Not sure if there's something better out there, but that jewelry set would work well though.

Will the added 20% block rate that a champion's set give help or do we have enough block rate? Though the + str are kinda pointless, both the +attack and +HP I think would be useful. Should I get it if I have the chance?

By the way, I bought 2 plugs + 14 and use them to AoE and the plugs for occasional fun at the arena.

That's a good question, about the champion's set. lol

I never used it myself even though I had one, cause my block rate was fine with areks and the 105 set +8, not to mention a high based DEX build (I didn't need more block rate). However, the champion's set add HP, damage from the demols and block rate, which could be great, especially at lower levels when your block rate isn't all that good. Then again, your atk rate might be lower since you won't gain the DEX from the rings. Your ASPD too, which is important for gathering. I suppose any would work well though (areks + plugs/demols or champion set), perhaps areks and plugs/demols may be greater when you already have your 105 set.

Also, defense isn't very good in PvP. Use demols for arena! 8D

Marksman set is what I use, not sure about everyone else - but if you don't use markman use areks/ demols

Well Marksman has a 1000 hp heal per kill which is great it you aoe.
