With the upcoming open beta of Vindictus, a mmorpg released by Nexon, the MMOfam Gaming Network is proud to introduce xVindictus, the first fansite under MMOfam to share the same FlyffWorld database!

MMOfam

The MMOfam project is a means of creating a universal global network for gamers - with multiple fansites dedicated to MMORPGs and a single, efficient way of remaining connected to all of them.

Under this network change, forum members currently at FlyffWorld can log onto the Vindictus forums using their current usernames and password and freely access the entire site – no registration required. And vice versa. This is slated for continued growth with the potential addition of multiple fansites for MMORPGs.

Furthermore, the shared database enables the non-exclusive game related forums – the World Community, Multimedia, and Miscellaneous sub-categories - to be visible on both sites. That means Flyff-related content stays over on FlyffWorld, and Vindictus-related content remains at xVindictus, but all the other content is conveniently shared, allowing for both communities to come together and hang out.

For those of you who appear surprised by the surge of newcomers to these sub-forums, there’s your answer!

xVindictus - Fan Forums for the action packed MMORPG

Vindictus itself is advertised as an action-packed MMORPG, with fantastically fresh graphics and the promise of several new classes during the release of the game. Beta is expected to open on September 15th and the new fan forums are hosting a free beta key giveaway for those looking to try the beta and get in on the action. Simply head over to those forums (or, for the lazy, click here), reply to the thread to request your own beta key and try out the game!

xVindictus is also looking for moderators! If you feel that you have the skills and the ability to make an efficient moderator, head over the xVindictus forums to apply. Forum members who aren't present Flyff players but are potentially looking towards playing Vindictus when the game goes live are encouraged to apply.

Oh, thats cool you got the forum database thing working. gratz.

Ill have to check out the Vindictus game later, though if I must be honest, I doubt Ill play. My interest in f2p MMO's has been dwindling.

As you grow old it might happen. But check this out

The truth is that the average age of MMORPG players is around 26.

Might join up if they ever bother to release the EU version. Nexon tend to IP block and playing via proxy isn't my idea of fun. Anyone know if they decided to be different this time and not block us?

There was supposedly one implemented according to a few responses with the GMs, but I haven't seen an official word this time really. And players were still able to play, that is.

Although digging around apparently they're making an EU version as well.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, don't want to start the US version then suddenly get blocked and lose it all. Guess I'll have another dig later and see if they want to clarify the situation or not.
