i think to translate the game, the heavily used "text in pic" textures must be translated too, but the game will check the files, and wont let it go
As it says in the Screenshots spoiler: "System locale is currently set to Korean so the Chinese characters are messed up...".
So it's actually Chinese with a Korean character set. xD

Indeed, a lot of the items, quests, windows, etc. have text in the pictures.
