Been looking into this online... So far all I've really come across are things like:

But I haven't encountered anyone with personal experience...
Guess what I'm asking is: has anyone tried this?

I can barely speak english. If you got that dream, might as well go for it. I don't know about that kobo website. Looks like nice. You done your research on it though? Like googling the company with possible keywords such as "kobo scam" or "kobo ripoff". Also they say, they will pay you twice a year? WTF?

Sounds scammy to me man. Twice a year.

I would go with the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing thing. Sounds more legit from a name brand.

Kobo is like a Canadian equivalent I think.

But I don't know much about it.

I'm just lazily googling how I can make money off writing... (essentially)

How has that been going so far? Any progress?
