This is a repost of whats in Flyffworld's guide section
This guide will teach you how to make a guild, as well of how making it last past a week.
How To Make A Guild
This is the easy part.
Go to Helena in Saint Morning.
1. Pay up 3 mil. [?]
Thats all. V7 </3
Your not done yet soldier. One more step
4.You must assemble a party of 3 [?] people WHO MUST BE GUILDLESS AND HAVE NOT BEEN IN A GUILD FOR 48 HOURS. Once that is done talk to Helena and voila, you have created your guild.
Now name your guild...This now begins the custom part of the guide, making a
SUCCESSFUL guild.
Know the reasons why you just made the guild. Did you make it so that you can go CW over and over? Then any crappy name will do. Did you do it for fun? Then put a name that shows your "fun". Now did you make this guild that can be a family for some and a legend for others? Then choose a respect name. Nothing too out there something that people will understand is generally appealing.
For now, we will dub the guild in this tutorial Saints.
So you created your guild Saints. You want to look at your guild list? Go ahead. Press G and it will open a display of who is in it, what level they are, how many GW have they been placed in (I will get into this later) and number of contributions. Lets go into this in detail.
1. What level are my guildmembers? As said before, Press G and voila next to their name lies their class and level.
2. Where is the number of Guild Wars they been placed in? In the guild window where members are displayed you should see number of surrender or some crap like that. There it is.
3. Guild Contribution? Yes this is the number of drops used to feed your guild levels. In order for your guild to level properally you not only need to add monster drops but penya as well. I suggest getting these through leveling and not purchasing them.
4.Your not telling me everything..What are you hiding? Yes there is one more thing. In the guild window, you will notice that your members are abonormally displayed in a random order. This is incorrect. What you are seeing is when that character was made. From Top being the first to bottom being the last.
Now back to the matter at hand. Your guild is made and you wondering who to add. Your first 6 should contain your closest friends, this applys for a CW guild as well. Do not make CW guild with random people or you may not like the results.
Why do i suggest friends? For one, you already know them. At least you should. Your friends will stay with you til the end. Your true friends that is. They will be loyal. Those who leave you obviously are not loyal to you(Unless for emo reasons which I will also get into)
So who should I add now? This is a matter of personal prefrence, however I suggest for now that you simply add friends. Now remember this, just because Leo is friends with Libra, doesn't mean that Libra is going to get along with Virgo. Make sure that all of your members are well aware of who is joining and who is leaving your guild. This is the most important step.
How do I add people? Alt click that person and it will show a display, (As well for your other members who have certain permssion which I will also get into) Click Guild Invite and voila. It's all up to them to join your guild.
You mean I can add anyone? No do not DO NOT add anyone. Be sure your members are well aware of your adding policy. Don't have your members running around Darkon randomly adding people. This will automatically make your guild seem "noobish" This is not what you want. Remember you can not add anyone who has been in a guild for less than 48 hours.
I have about 20 members in my guild and it's leveling fine...So who do I give rank to? This is once again, personal preference. But as for this guide I will give it to you as how I did it. Do it for those who deserve it. Do not give "special treatement" to anyone. When a person is in your guild they are family. You are the Father/Mother. Your kingpins are your spouses, your captains are your uncles, and your supporters are your niece/nephew, and lastly your rookies are your cousins.
They are ALL family. If a person is whinning about their guild rank then you have a problem. Chances are they will only create problems later as well. The solution? Let them bitch, and if they leave then so be it.
As for guild bank acesss, do not grant everyone with this. This is not just a trust issue, it is also so you can keep tabs of what goes in and out of your guild bank. I strongly suggest only King Pins have this access for new guilds.
My members just had a fight and I don't know what to do! First off listen to both sides of the fight. IN PRIVATE. DO NOT discuss this out in the open as that will only fan the flames. Listen to both sides and mentor both. If all goes well nothing too bad will happen. Don't be afraid to put that foot down either. Just don't leave any scars.
My guild seems just like a chatroom sometimes... This is semi normal, but is bad. You want your guild to be the best? You got some fixing to do.
First off, if you want to get your guild name out there. I suggest making guild parties.
Whats a Guild Party? This is a party designed specifically for your guild and only for your guild. That means all the 8 spots are automatically reserved only for your guildmates.
How does this help? When your members talk in guild chat, they are chatting away but nothing much is left with interaction. In partys, people share party points, must level the party, invite people and ect. When in a party you get to work as a team in a daily basis. This is GOOD. The more your guild works together the better and more home it will feel to them as well as you. If you have 2 or 3 empty spots, don't be afraid to feel those spots up. This is also good for people to see, people who come into your party will get to know your guild better. This shows chance of a possible new member for joining.
Ok were making guild partys everyday but what else can we do?Once you get to a certain level you should particpate in those lovely flyff unique quest.
1. CW- There are guides on how to go about this, (and if there isn't someone needs to make one!) CW for the first time can be very orgasmic (Yes I said it) For people on their first time, it usually is a positve experience. However....
We Just beat CW....But I don't know what to do with the drops!
STOP RIGHT THERE. This is one of the things that can easily mess up your guild right now. (Though my guild never showed too much problems) First off YOU personally collect all the drops. Now deciding who obtains these, should be based on personal prefence. Remember NO ONE IS SPECIAL. Everyone in your guild is equal. However please don't be stupid and give it to someone who newly joined the guild when someone hasn't gotten anything yet. It doesn't matter if they were there or not.
2. Guild Wars- This is also a fun experience,(in some cases) You as the guild leader must send an invite to the other guild using the war tab in the Guild window. Place their name and the name of the guild leader and send it. I'm not sure about the specific rules that is in place now,(someone might have to fill in the blank for me here) Just be sure to know why you are GW. Is it for revenge? If it is stop right now. This will not solve ANYTHING. I don't give a damn what you say, it won't. Is it for fun? GWs are always for "fun" so once again this is bad. Is it for the enjoyment of both guilds? This is your answer.
In GW, it's a mass spree of kiling. As leader you must not die or the GW ends. End case, if your members kill their leader Saints wins. If someone decides to cheat. Don't make panic about it. Unless the leader is cheating, which they shouldnt' because they are your friends in the first place, or close at least.
3. Guild Siege- Uh, it's fun i guess. Unless your guild is full of 10x/9x don't bother.
My guildmate Leo invite his RM in the guild, I want to train with the RM though. Make note to this. When you invite parnters to the guild, that is just what they are partners. Though it is their personal prefrence, it's best to not split up a partnership. Meaning, if the RM wants to train and so do you, don't hesitate to train with them. However if Leo logs on, don't expect the RM to stay. Make sure your guild is also aware that they are partners. Though do not give them the impression they may not train with them just let them be aware of this.
My guildmate wants to invite someone but I heard bad things about them...What do I do? This is on prefrence. However, from my own experience people who are said to be bad, are just that bad. Only listen to who your friends are, do not listen to random people who chatter. Remember, as far as your concern you don't care what random people say, only your friends.
Alright, just to make sure how much of what should I have in the guild?First off, know that you should not go by this
right from the start. Make sure that your guild has a decent amount of members. But basically, you should just add people by classes as they are needed. If you need more blades for the guild. Make that aware. If your not sure that you exactly need more blades, ask questions that pertain the most for your guild. Does your guild go cw alot? Gw prehaps? Or you plan on going on the guild raid? For CW, you obviously want damage dealers, which damage dealers you get is a matter of preference. Notice that one class you need for each one of the above choices. RIngmasters, Ringmasters are the main basis for your guild. I suggest that if you plan on maintaining a close nit guild for guild parts and such that you
at least have
one third of your guild of RMs and never more than
two-thirds Why not pass two-thirds? Why would you want a guild with 30 rms and 1 of each other class? Unless they are battle which I won't take to account, your guild party is going to have alot of outsiders, which is good for recruiting but you want
unity.
Wait a minute...who are you to tell me how to run a guild? I am Gustaf, and I had the guild Chaos Legionz which is now dead. I later joined Illuminati.
I need to know something that isn't on the guide! Just post it here, it's pretty damn late at night right now, and I wrote this guide as I thought of things, so it is possible for me to forget things.
This was a guide by yours truely. Don't say I never did anything for you.
