Honestly, for any build that is under 30 (and even 40) DEX, I would just get the 15 or so odd STA points (you already get +14 STA from two +6 Sta Rings) from my rings and equips and go full dex. It gives you the option of technically being that ranger with some STA and that ranger with full dex for the damage with the swapping of rings.
As for damage just get a good bow such as a Gbow or a NPC Bow with DEX awakenings. Do not use the level 45 Flaming Bow though. I basically do double the damage with a clean Gbow. z.z
