A Ranger is mostly likely going to use the 120 set simply because it adds Critrate, which is harder to get than raw damage, along with the HP/defense. That means you lose 40% critdamage off your set. Also, Bow Jesters would probably use STR/Critdmg cards on their weapon, where a Ranger would use DEX/crit. What it basically ends up at is the Bow Jester having quite a bit more critdamage, and the Ranger having more HP, defense and raw attackrate. (So higher skill damage + more skills to use)
Which will do more damage? I don't think anyone can tell for sure, as it's not easy to make an accurate estimate of the effect and limit of critdamage. A Ranger will have to pay more to be as good, but it will make you better overall thanks to the better survivability and higher leveling speed.
EDIT: Fuck DEX pets btw, Unicorns > every other pet for bow users.
