Reason is mostly that
- it's readily available... I don't have to make one myself
- my guild lead Aishiri (the OP) will (hopefully) give it to me for a cheaper price than buying and +3'ing the pieces myself
- defense beats casting time reduction (for me at least), and the defense makes up for the possible lack of the HP+10% modifier
- who knows if I actually will get myself a Teba set... I'll probably be rushing through Magicianhood anyway
Those are enough reasons for me at least.
