the reason the griffin is hated so much is because it fives 4def per lvl of it. and I think for most classes 1sta means maybe 1-1.5 def....so that def being replaced by hp by being sta is better than the griffins lousy defece

Yes you are right but but how much people use pets during leveling? When you accidently die by lag then it will be an expensive death... On aibatt it would be 110m gone cause of the pet life.
I know lion gives defense too but i'm talking pvp wise. In pvp you don't need defense sure you can also say the lion will give FP.
