Dragons can have their uses if you plan to just get one great pet (1/3/5/etc) and swap it around on your characters. Every class (except most RMs) can gain
some benefit from additional attack, but Tigers don't affect everyone (int and dex-using classes). So overall I like Dragons for their versatility. Plus, Dragons (and Griffins) are a lot cooler than fruity unicorns
