not really. you are saying that china/japan/russia/india are threats.
1. china, india russia have nukes. which prevents war according to what you say.
2. they all combined have lower expenditures than the EU
i wonder why people still think military warfare is predominant in today's world just because the US has troops everywhere when actually economical and media warfare are already used and way more effective.
