Some of the pictures we're getting are quite ... interesting. One of them reminded me of the aftermath of an attack by (okay, suspected) Hindu mobs against a lone Muslim (confirmed), in Gujerat, India.
His limbs were splayed, like he'd been held down, and his head was, well, mush. The bloodied stone was beside what should have been his head, and it was prolly the size of a grapefruit (the stone, not what-used-to-be-a-human-head).
Simply put, his killers held him down, and someone bashed his head repeatedly with the stone until there was nothing resembling a head left. Maybe they took turns, I don't know. One can only imagine the hate, the lack of respect for human life. It could not have ended fast.
Also in the picture were the men who (allegedly) did him in. The look on their faces was that of ... satisfaction.
That one picture affected how I viewed religion more than anything else in my adult life.

For some strange reason, at this point in time, I'm more concerned about the pandas than I am about the people.
