Something similar to this happens to me a lot. Usually, one of the following would happen:
- too engrossed window shopping in town
- too busy keeping my brother's RM alive whenever he's aggroed while leveling together
- too focused on counting the correct number of zeroes while trading/vending/mailing penya
- my mind flies away to a happy place
All the while, completely forgetting that I had a pet out. A few mins later, I would be "WTF! How did my pet lost a life/died?" Then another few minutes later, I would go "DOH!" I lost a lot of low level pets that way.
